This year is passing so fast. I’m getting married in March and the 5 months we have left feel more like 5 weeks! I’ve been flustered and unfocused outside of by day job and have been pretty creatively scattered. But I was happy to be able to finish a small painting series I’ve been working on the past few weeks! These are done in watercolor, gouache and acryla gouache. Their titles are:
1: dance, illumined rider of dawn, and when you pray, howl
2: sing, scale-hearted noon walker, and obey the wind’s embrace
3: speak, fledged vessel of night, and stand vigil to the birthing stars
Also ICYMI for the last 1.5 years I’ve been organizing with my coworkers to unionize Wizards of the Coast, home of Magic: The Gathering and D&D, the most celebrated & beloved TTRPG and TCGs of all time! I’ve been there almost 4 years and I adore it but I also want to make it better. This effort took buckets of blood, sweat & tears but we did it! If you want to support us, sign that petition and boost.
Also here’s the back cover of Delicious Hideous Ugly Fat Infinity and then a page I didn’t use. Changeling is going to be my partner and I’s little collective banner we use to share our collaborative work and table under.
I haven’t printed a zine in a few years, I forgot how good it feels! I’ll have these lovey little guys at some events next year but until then you can read this digitally here.
Fall is nearly over …are you ready for the fallow chill of winter?
